ENTRY FEE:
• Full package - R2,500 (R300 compulsory conservation fee inc.) Only 150 entries will be made available for this package.

• Runners package R2,200 (R300 compulsory conservation fee inc.) Only 50 entries will be made available for this package.

• Additional meals can be booked for family/friends for the duration of the event when entering online (no family/friends will be allowed to stay in the race village due to capacity restraints... sorry about that)

DISTANCE: 32km, 42km and 32km
VENUE: Bushwillow Camp (Karkloof), KZN
PROVINCE: KwaZulu-Natal

STAGE RACE: 3 Days through the beautiful Karkloof valley and breeding grounds of South Africa’s endangered cranes. Sadly, all three of South Africa’s crane species are in decline due to man’s relentless exploitation of their delicate habitat. By running the Bonitas Three Cranes Challenge you will not only participate in an awesome event, but will also assist the plight of these beautiful birds!

“Danni & Bella: our adopted babies”

We adopted 2 orphaned cranes for our winners last year: Bella & Danni!
we adopted two orphaned baby cranes which was part of the  "Adopt a Crane" programme. This programme funds the rehabilitation and upkeep of orphaned and injured cranes. In 2010 we adopted two baby crown cranes which got named by the 2010 winners Nick de Beer & Rentia Denissen which named them Bella & Danni! Dirk Cloete and Kerry Koen took over being their parents in 2011, and we look forward to some new parents in 2012.
